The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz plans an extension to the existing campus, the Center of Fundamental Physics [CfP]. DGI Bauwerk was selected as general planer in a negotiation procedure [VOF] in 2016.
Wittenberg Castle is being renovated to accommodate new uses. The ground floor will receive a visitors’ centre for the Castle Church World Heritage site, while the first and second floors will receive a research library on the history of the Reformation. New seminar and work rooms for the Evangelisches Predigerseminar Wittenberg will be built on the top floor.
The Hasso-Plattner-Institute plans to increase its capacity for the growing demand of space. There are currently about 500 students studying in the bachelor and master programmes of the Hasso-Plattner-Institute.
The new construction of the kindergarten with 70 crèche and kindergarten places is a cooperation project between Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch and FRÖBEL Bildung und Erziehung gGmbH. Unique to the project is an integrated guest children's area for siblings of critically ill children.
