The Laboratory for high-precision laser research is a department of the Fritz Haber Institute for Physical Chemistry in Berlin. The planning and realization of this laboratory led to the limits of technical feasibility.DGI Bauwerk accepted the challenge and is about to complete the building soon.

As ARGE ZELUBA 2015 DGI Bauwerk and schneider + schumacher received the award for the construction of the centre for light construction and environmentally compatible building in a negotiated procedure. The building will be used as a joint competence center of the Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research WKI and the Technical University Braunschweig. The center focuses on the development of new materials, technologies, subsystems and hybrid construction systems in buildings.
