The Center for Light and Environmentally-Friendly Structures in Braunschweig opened its doors on Architecture Day.
While observing all hygiene measures, the numerous interested visitors were able to find out about the hybrid timber construction of the unusual research building – and experience the result live.
A group of architecture enthusiasts made the long journey to the testing hall in Berlin-Adlershof. They were rewarded with an exclusive guided tour of the building.
Explanations of the technical challenges and information about the component-integrated photovoltaic system were the main focus.
