Patient rooms with more comfort Topping-out ceremony for the extension of the Berlin Jewish Hospital

The existing building B of the Jewish Hospital Berlin is being expanded by two three-story extensions.
Brit Ismer, the commercial director, summarises the project idea in her speech at the topping-out ceremony: New patient rooms with more comfort, shorter distances for doctors and nurses.
Among the numerous guests State Secretary Martin Matz could be welcomed, who also took time to inspect the new rooms.
The construction work takes place during ongoing hospital operation and requires structural changes in the existing building material. The consortium JKB B GbR baumgarten simon architects and DGI Bauwerk were awarded the contract in 2018.
