Approximately 600,000 cubic metres of concrete and about 65,000 tons of steel have to be installed. In August measures were taken to mix the concrete during night time because of the long-lasting summer heat. Thus the aggregates were cooled down by nitrogen to avoid cracking caused by too fast curing due to the heat during the day.
