Fair - Expanded Structural Work for Plant Area North

Fair stands for “Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research”.
On the construction site of the FAIR particle accelerator facility in the north of Darmstadt, things are progressing. The excavation pit for the large ring accelerator lies at a depth of twenty metres. In the area of the accelerator tunnel and the adjacent crossing building, the floor slabs, walls and ceiling slabs are already being concreted.
