In project management we focus on consensual cooperation targeting the success of the project as a whole. In addition to our expertise of project controlling, holistic thinking and knowledge in structural engineering, the social competence of the project team in communication, motivation and conflict management is the key to our sustained success.

PROJECT GOALS / ORGANISATION

Set goals, develop structures
We develop the goals and requirements in phase 0 as a basis for effective project management. By establishing project-specific operational and organisational structures and procedures we offer clarity in responsibilities and create more efficient and effective processes. We will assist in the formulation of the contract contents and services of the project participants. With  the selection of the optimal allocation strategy we are creating the basis for efficient project execution.

COMMUNICATION/INFORMATION

Transparency, motivation, commitment
We develop regulations on work and communication routines and assist in the selection of a suitable project area. The relevant information is documented transparently and bindingly in a project manual. Moreover we conceptualise and implement regular reporting for decision making, costs, schedules and qualities.

COST CONTROL

Securing cost targets through cost analysis and forecasts
We understand the control of the project costs as a continuous process starting from requirement planning to the determination of costs after project completion. Due to our experience, we know the critical parameters and secure cost compliance through active controlling. We collect all relevant project costs to receive credible statements in order to predict cost developments intelligently. Alternative solutions and cost-saving opportunities are identified and control measures will be initiated.

SCHEDULE CONTROL

Transparency – think ahead milestones and interfaces
By expert examination and critical analysis of durations, dependencies and capacities we evaluate the sub-scheduling of the project participants and ensure their (tracking) monitoring and compliance at all phases of the project.
We know what information is important and even complex schedules get summarised so that the central information remains in view. We recognise deadline risks, engage early and professionally with targeted measures in order to control and implement deadlines.

RISK MANAGEMENT

Project management means continuous risk management
We offer support in identifying, evaluating and managing project risks .On request, also in implementing a project-related risk management system according to ISO 31000. In addition, we actively stand aside with our experience and expertise in managing the risks in the current project business.

PROJECT-BASED QM

Building with quality
With the binding definition of quality objectives, the basis for a goal orientated project management is provided. For quality-critical projects it can be advisable to set up a project-based quality management system to use as a feasible and effective tool. Due to the development of agreements for quality assurance with companies and project-specific processes, we ensure the achievement of the quality goals.

MULTI PROJECT SCHEDULE CONTROL

Managing complexity
Dealing with large projects, modularised scheduling makes complexity and interfaces controllable (oder manageable). We offer the development of a practical and plausible subproject structure that remains resilient due to flexibility. For optimal project collaboration we also advise you in the conceptual design of work processes and responsibilities. Together with our partners, we support you in the implementation by using Microsoft Project Server.

MANAGEMENT TOOL KS+

Consistent and comprehensible for our clients
Our specially developed cost control software KS + pools 30 years of project experience and know-how. This allows us to record, analyse and present project costs of all stages transparently. By the use of integrated tools for cost analysis and cost benchmarks we ensure compliance with the cost targets. At any time multistage forecasts give us an overview of the development of costs and enough time to take action.
