The Helmholtz Centre Berlin [HZB] as building owner, DGI Bauwerk as architect and the curator Enno Wallis invite everyone to an extraordi-nary art exhibition called ‘SPEED’.

Students and already established artists exhibit in the underground accelerator hall of bERLinPro. Like last year’s exhibition, the unique location – the completed shell of a research building with technology and accelerator hall – and its future purpose will be the subject of art.
The exhibition ‘Art in the laboratory’ in 2015 at the site of the research building for precision laser laboratories of the Max Planck Society in Berlin-Dahlem had a great response already.
We would be delighted to welcome you at the HZB Campus in Berlin-Adlershof.
Through the project bERLinPro a new accelerator technology is being developed under the auspices of the HZB within the next five years. With brilliant X-ray radiation from particle accelerators, scientists explore the tiniest structures in materials, biomolecules, paintings or archaeological objects.
With bERLinPro a new test facility will be built, which will be able to recover a large portion of the energy, which is injected into the accelerator.
