ZELUBA - GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR COMMON RESEARCH BUILDING THE FRAUNHOFER WKI AND THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY BRAUNSCHWEIG

On 3rd of November 2017 the construction work for a new joint research area of Fraunhofer WKI and TU Braunschweig started with a groundbreaking ceremony.
Minister Heinen-Kljajić emphasized: ‘Lightweight construction is a key technology for environmentally friendly and resource-efficient construction. In particular, the research on hybrid composite materials is future-oriented in view of the ecological and economic challenges of our time. ‘
Together with the representatives the team of architects, Bernd Tibes [DGI Bauwerk] and Kai Otto[schneider+schumacher] launched the groundbreaking on the construction site after the official welcome.
